TechForward Earth: Empowering Youths for Sustainable Innovation
Join us in finding tech-oriented solutions to the issues threatening our environment. Together, we’ll create a more sustainable planet.
Young people deserve to be heard. AIESEC recognizes this, and that’s why once every year, we rally the youth, industry giants, and thought leaders from across the country to one location to interact, deliberate on matters of interest, proffer solutions, and learn from each other.
This year, we’re fostering conversations around environmental change through technology. We believe that in our world today, there is no bigger tool for solving some of the world’s greatest issues than tech, and there are no better operators of tech than our generation.
Youth Speak Forum exists to help young people lend their voices to the causes that matter. In this year’s edition, we’re focusing on three SDG-related topics and fostering meaningful conversations around them. They are:
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9)
Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)
Climate action (SDG 13)
Join fellow changemakers and industry leaders for a value-packed two-day conference of deliberating, networking and learning.
Time: 09:00 AM.
Date: May 31st and June 1st, 2024
Venue: Faculty of Environmental Sciences, UNILAG, Akoka.
Tons of issues exist today that affect the livelihood of many, but for one reason or another, they remain ignored and, therefore, unsolved. It is up to us to take responsibility, create awareness about these things, and provide working solutions. We simply cannot sit back, arms folded and watch as the situation worsens while we do nothing.
Instead, let us come together, individuals and organizations alike, to combine resources and develop methods to combat these societal issues that affect us all. Here’s your chance to impact the change you want to see.
